Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro| Bluetooth | 45 mm| Black| Titanium| Compatible with Android
In 2022, Samsung’s smartwatch lineup will be centred on the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro, the most rugged version of the Galaxy Watch 5 and the main competitor to the Apple Watch Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro costs $449.99 and has outdoor-specific features that the non-Pro model doesn’t have, like the ability to import cycling and hiking routes for turn-by-turn directions.
In terms of battery life, the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro is better than the $799 Apple Watch Ultra because it can last for three days, a first for smartwatches with many features.
Even though Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro is more significant than Apple’s competitor, it’s much more comfortable to wear because of how it’s made.
The regular Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro is still our Editor’s Choice as the best Apple Watch alternative for most Android users, thanks to its lower price and sleeker design.
However, the Pro model is better if battery life and durability are your top priorities.
SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch Pro 5 Product Description
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is significant and noticeable.
The screen is the first thing you’ll notice. It’s clear, bright, and very responsive to swipes.
The titanium case’s raised bezel protects the large 1.36″ screen.
Since I’m used to wearing chunky Garmins, the large watch didn’t bother me, but people used to smaller smartwatches may find this one too big.
Some sources say its titanium and sapphire crystal construction makes it twice as durable as the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro.
A slightly raised bezel protects the watch from scratches and gives it a rugged look, fitting for Samsung’s most brutal watch to date. I would be worried about scratching the watch screen in a sharp corner.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro has more health-related features than the regular Watch 5.
Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro is the only GPS device with a route planner called “route workout,” which lets you and your friends run the same route at different times and compare your times as if you were racing.
We don’t think many people will take the time to make their own GPX files to upload to Samsung Health, but those who like to push themselves will.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro has a 590mAh battery, which is 60% bigger than the 350mAh battery in the Watch 4 and 20% more significant than the 44mm version of the Watch 5’s 410mAh battery.
This gives it an 80-hour battery life, about twice as long as the Watch 5.
We don’t think, though, that this impressive number will hold up if you use the watch’s always-on display and its more powerful GPS and activity tracking tools a lot.
Our Watch 5 Pro lasted about 72 hours with light to moderate GPS use and near-constant automatic tracking (the watch automatically detected walks and runs and sent me WhatsApp notifications regularly).
I charged it on a Tuesday, down to 10% by Friday morning.
The watch’s internal gyroscopes let it measure vertical oscillation (how much you bounce up and down as you run) and upper-body stiffness.
I could not check their accuracy, but the minute-by-minute breakdown of data in the graphs was impressive.
Experienced runners will benefit a lot from this.

SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch Pro 5 Review By Online Product Report
After using the watch for over a week, we can confidently say that it is the best Wear OS fitness watch we’ve tried.
The fitness tools and metrics are excellent and reliable, but the price is high.
It works well enough for a smartwatch but is not as sturdy as an accurate fitness tracker.
The screen is beautiful, the watch is well-made, and it feels good on your wrist. However, the titanium case and raised bezel keep it from being rugged.
We’ll have to wait and see if it can compete with Apple’s best, but it has the power and skills to beat all its rivals.
Will hikers and campers use Wear OS instead of Suuntos and high-end Garmins? We guess that they won’t.
This is not a tool for triathletes or polar explorers. Instead, it is a smartwatch for people who like to spend time outside.
Even though Samsung says this watch is extreme and challenging, it’s better for weekend warriors who want a stylish accessory that can handle roughing it when the situation calls for it.
This is the watch for you if you’re constantly moving around but aren’t necessarily an elite athlete.
